8oz Dairy Free Butter (I Used Vitalite butter)
2 Medium Eggs
6oz Self Raising Flour
4oz Kinnerton Luxury Dark Chocolate (Nut, Dairy, Gluten & Egg Free)
170ml Coconut Milk (Or Almond Milk/Vanilla Soya Milk If You Prefer)
½ tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Bicarbonate Of Soda
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Zest Of 2 Medium Sized Oranges
2 tbsp Fresh Orange Juice (Oranges Used The Zest Of)
Cake Filling:
4oz Dairy Free Butter (Vitalite butter)
½ tbsp Green & Blacks Cocoa Powder (This Is Dairy Free)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tbsp Coconut Milk (Or Almond Milk/Vanilla Soya Milk If You Prefer)
4oz Sukrin Melis Icing Sugar (Unrefined Sugar Substitute)

#1 To Make Sponge – Cream The Butter In A Blender To Soften
#2 Melt The Kinnerton Chocolate In A Pan On Hob
#3 Add The Melted Chocolate To The Butter And Cream Together
#4 Beat Eggs, Vanilla & Milk Together & Then Cream With The Butter & Chocolate
#5 Sieve The Flour, Baking Powder & Bicarbonate Of Soda Together & Add To The Liquid Mixture & Blend
#7 Grate 2 Orange Skins, Add To The Mixture, Then Juice The Oranges & Blend
(You Can Use Orange Juice From A Carton But Make Sure There’s No Added Sugar)
#8 Greaseproof 8” Tins & Split The Mixture – Bake In The Oven For 25-30 Minutes On Gas Mark 4
#9 To Make The Filling – Cream Butter, Icing Sugar & Cocoa Powder Together – Then Add The Milk & Vanilla
#10 Once Cakes Have Baked & Cooled Down, Spread The Chocolate Filling Over One Sponge & Place The Other Sponge On Top
#11 Dust With Icing Sugar, Cut Up An Orange To Decorate.
